Austenitic cast iron with nodular graphite
Compared with austenitic cast iron with lamellar graphite, austenitic cast iron with nodular graphite has considerably greater tensile strength and ductility. Its austenitic matrix makes this material an ideal choice for applications that require good corrosion resistance against acidic, alkaline, saline or other aggressive agents, and high mechanical loads.
