M. Jürgensen

On August 8 2011, the representative Minister-President of Schleswig-Holstein and Minister for Work Dr. Heiner Garg welcomed the new apprentices at M. Jürgensen. The apprenticeships this year are general business administrator, industrial mechanic and cutting machine operator.

The Minister for Work was interested to learn about the qualifications of the applicants for apprenticeships and the employer’s activities to attracted young people. Director Human Resources Sinje Niebuhr pointed out, that the most important factors are close contacts to local schools and the support of the parents. For applicants it is important to get an insight into the variety of jobs. People who would like to start their apprenticeship in 2012 will need to apply soon. M. Jürgensen engages in job fairs and school cooperations to get early in contact with potential applicants. Positions for apprenticeships starting 2012 will be filled already this year.

Next year, M. Jürgensen will offer apprenticeships as general business administrators, industrial mechanics, electronic technicians and cutting machine operators. Applicants with a good diploma of comprehensive schools will also have a chance.
